Who can be referred

We accept adult patients with:

  • Functional bowel disorders (IBS, functional constipation / diarrhoea / bloating / incontinence)

  • Bowel symptoms (constipation, bloating, diarrhoea, urgency, incontinence, bleeding, abdominal pain)

  • Gynaecological-related bowel issues (pelvic pain, rectocele and obstructed defecation)

  • Known bowel diseases (functional bowel disorders, diverticular disease, rectal intussusception / prolapse, colorectal cancer, motility disorders, other)

  • Pelvic floor dysfunction (obstructed defecation, pelvic floor dyssynergia, incontinence, post-partum pelvic floor symptoms)

  • Persistent or unexplained bowel symptoms despite normal investigations
